Gameplay Sound Redesign
A design exercise with the intent to challenge my synthesis and processing techniques. A majority of the player weapon/ability source material was created using wavetable synths. I also recorded the ambience, footsteps, and shotgun pumps.

Cinematic Sound Redesign
A sound redesign of Riot Games' "Call of the Mountain" cinematic. As part of my final project at Vancouver Film School, all SFX, Foley, dialogue, and music was recorded, edited, and mixed in-theatre for 5.1 surround sound.

Bio
Hi, I'm Alex, a game audio designer based in Vancouver, BC.
​
I have been into content creation ever since I was young. Drawing, making videos, composing, and playing music. Since then I have continued exploring different areas of visual media throughout high school, and subsequently focusing on sound design at Vancouver Film School. It's because of these valuable experiences that I've developed a passion for both the creative and technical aspects of the craft.
​
My most recent experience has been at Interleave as a Junior Sound Designer and Producer. My responsibilities included designing and implementing audio assets utilizing Wwise, UE5 and P4V. Most notably, I assisted with talent coordination and music editing on Horizon Forbidden West, and dialogue editing on Vox Machinae. Additionally, I upheld client-facing relationships and oversaw other project management tasks.

My ideal project is one that people love to work on, offers creative challenges, and is fun to play. If you've got something like this in the works, I would love to be a part of it!
